I CONFESS! šš¼āāļøThe learning tower has marked a before and after in our daily rhythms šØāš©āš§āš§
The first one we had was a 1st-year birthday gift š. My in-laws had bought it abroad because we couldnāt find any with the features we liked (yeap, weāre a bit fussy!).
A few months later, plƤ plƤ Free Play was born, and the tower was the first piece we designed šš. As we were 3 experienced users of the tower already, we knew exactly how to improve it to make it a functional, safe, practical and very beautiful piece! š¤
šš¾ So here are the top 5 reasons (plus one bonus track on us š) why I think buying a learning tower is one of the best investments you can make in the early years of your child š¼
1ļøā£ Safety:
Your child is safe, stable and contained. Unlike the usual stool, your little one is not in danger of misstepping and falling out of it when helping cook dinner.
2ļøā£ Inclusion:
Your child can assist in activities that are usually out of reach (there is apparently too much fun going on up the laundry benchtop).
3ļøā£ Sensory education:
Your child can learn to identify colours, textures, smells and flavours in the kitchen, and also try new foods!
4ļøā£ Freedom:
Your child gains autonomy and confidence as they do not need help to participate in all these new activities. This will enhance their sense of self-confidence, and they will feel like independent little person (which you know they will love!).
5ļøā£ Bonding:
You are strengthening the bond between your child and you by doing more things together. No more need to think of activities that are solely aimed at your little one, just involve them in the general daily routine.
BONUS TRACK
ā¶ļø And speaking specifically of our learning tower, it transforms into a table with a built in seat in 2 seconds (literally!).
So, in addition to a tower, you will get a wonderful and super useful play space for crafts or even having afternoon tea.
And you, how do you think a learning tower can make your life easier? šš»šš½ššæ
